The Meeting

Identity:
Interpretation of spirituality. Inspired by Jewish tradition, Midrash and Kabbalah as an expression of the personal search for meaning and identity.

My work is inspired by the Zohar and the story of the primal explosion, the shattering of the vessels and the infinite light that must be redeemed in individual sparks. The sparks are exiled in a world where they are out of context, held captive within their own confusion. A yearning is born from the trauma of the broken vessels.

The feminine role is in collecting the sparks and bringing light into the world so that we “see” with our eyes the unseen internal beauty of the infinite light.
